Job summary

EPAM Systems in Malaysia is seeking a Backend Software Engineer (Golang) to design, develop and maintain cloud-native backend applications and microservices. You will work with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP and Datadog in an agile environment to ensure reliability, performance and smooth deployments.

The role emphasizes production troubleshooting, incident response and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvements while adopting modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

Backend applications and microservices development using Golang.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend applications and microservices in Go.
Deploy and troubleshoot containerized apps on Kubernetes.
Integrate microservices with AWS/Azure/GCP.
Monitor health and reliability with Datadog.
Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum.
