Job summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist in Johor, Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with export/import laws, coordinating with IT, legal, sales, logistics and operations to prevent violations across borders.

The role involves determining license requirements, processing licenses, and providing shipment clearance instructions while supporting partners and internal staff. A 4-year degree and several years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree and 3-5 years of experience.
• Experience handling regional, local, and national export/import controls is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with IT, legal, sales, logistics and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regional, local and national export/import laws.
• Liaise with internal groups to ensure adherence to trade control laws and regulations.
• Provide import/export clearance support for shipments and instruct brokers and couriers.
