The role includes managing customs compliance, AEO, licensing, certificates, audits, and record-keeping to ensure adherence to national and international regulations while delivering excellent service.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma/Professional Certificate in relevant field required.
• Minimum experience in customs/trade compliance is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure Malaysia complies with Malaysia Strategic Act, export requirements, and relevant US export requirements for Malaysian exports.
• Manage Customs Compliance and Strategic Trade Act program in Malaysia.
• Oversee Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) & LMW processes.
• Issue and maintain Origin certificates (Preferential & Non Preferential).
• Issue and maintain Manufacturing License and related documentation.
• Audit and record-keeping for import/export activities in Malaysia.
• Screen and record End Use Statements for controlled items procurement.
• Participate in continuous improvement related to customs and trade compliance.
• Interface with customers, government agencies, advisors and third parties on trade compliance matters.
• Conduct audits to ensure export regulations compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
