Job summary

Starz Advise Management Pte Ltd seeks a System Architect for semiconductor equipment to drive system-level architecture, requirements, and integration across subsystems. You will lead cross-functional teams, balance technical risk, and ensure compliant, robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in system leadership of complex mechatronic projects, strong modeling skills (MATLAB/Simulink, SolidWorks), and is willing to travel up to 20% internationally. Salary RM10,000–RM17,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years leading system-level development of complex mechatronic systems.
• Proven track record in system engineering and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with requirements engineering, risk management, and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse system-level requirements and write design briefs for subsystems.
• Evaluate concepts with domain experts based on function, cost, and risk.
• Ensure interface compatibility across subsystems and modules.
• Guide subsystem concepts and validate feasibility via modeling and simulation.
• Lead design reviews and manage risk to meet system objectives.
• Ensure CE, SEMI, RoHS compliance and proper documentation.
• Support IP development and patent applications.
• Present solutions and resolve system-level issues with customers.
