Job summary

Apical in Malaysia seeks a Supply Chain Compliance and Engagement Manager to ensure the supply chain operates in accordance with regulatory requirements, sustainability commitments and responsible sourcing standards.

The role requires extensive experience in buyer engagement and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and maintain a resilient, sustainable supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's is an advantage.
• 5–10 years in supply chain, sustainability, compliance or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of due diligence & ESG frameworks.
• Experience in palm oil supply chain; supplier/buyer engagement is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant digital tools; familiarity with data systems.
• Knowledge of traceability, risk assessment and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage requirements of customers/buyers and stakeholders to meet sustainability commitments.
• Engage with ESG matters including policy, partnerships, certification and compliance.
• Develop and monitor sustainability targets and programs aligned with Apical2030.
• Manage sustainability data related to traceability, legality, NDPE IRF, human rights and environmental data.
• Monitor ESG trends and provide recommendations at corporate and refinery levels.
• Support sustainability events, workshops and training for stakeholders.
• Coordinate, monitor and report on sustainability performance periodically.
