Job summary

Nokia in Malaysia seeks an experienced Supply Chain Program Manager to lead manufacturing lifecycle changes across EMS partners and vendors in SE and S Asia. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive BOM health, phase-in/phase-out of variants, manage production contracts, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing cost and quality.

Responsibilities include leading change boards, ECN execution, process stabilization to improve yield, and representing SC PM in cross-site forums with R&D,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operations in mass production of optical/electro-mechanical hardware.
• Familiarity with BOM management, forecasting, MRP, purchasing and product costing in PDM/ERP/MES environments.
• Advanced understanding of electronic and optical manufacturing processes and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with telecom systems and technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead change review boards to review and implement engineering changes (ECNs, variances, deviations, special build requests).
• Manage phase-in/phase-out of new variants and resolve operational issues across cross-functional teams.
• Stabilize manufacturing processes and drive cross-functional teams to improve yield.
• Collaborate with Procurement to improve BOM health and support cost reduction targets.
• Ensure 2nd sources qualification by leading technical teams.
• Represent Supply Chain PM with R&D, PLM, Procurement, Product Engineering, EMS Mgmt and Logistics.
• Program manage contract manufacturers and OEM vendors for mass production.
• Serve as escalation point for capacity and technical issues affecting Test Engineering and R&D.
• Manage product lifecycle from ramp-up to end of life and prepare lifecycle milestone content.
• Lead projects related to Product Transfers between EMS partners or internal factories and EMS partners.
