Job summary

VAT Group in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to fully own the supply chain for a product series, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting lead times and managing COGS for healthy margins.

You will be the single point of contact for order fulfillment across Program Management, Design Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics, and will lead a team of Supply Specialists and Order & Material Specialists across VAT network (Switzerland, Malaysia, Romania).

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, International Management and/or Economics, or Business Admin.
• Technical education and advanced education in procurement and supply chain management.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in developing industrial operations and strategic project purchasing.
• Strong cross-functional management skills with stakeholder focus.
• Fluent English communication and can-do attitude.
• Results-oriented team player with collaboration across departments.
• Active participation in procurement process improvements and cross-divisional projects.

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Lead will fulfill a central key role in our company.
• Single point of contact on order fulfillment for both mass production and NPI, with stakeholders from PM, Design Eng, Category Management, Purchasing, KAM, Production, Finance and Logistics.
• Manage procurement and production planning for a dedicated product line across Switzerland, Malaysia and Romania.
• Lead a team of Supply Specialists and Order & Material Specialists for a dedicated Product Line.
• Be responsible for KPIs such as OTDr/OTDc, backlog reduction, lead time reduction, and COGS reduction.
• Minimize SMI due to component EOL or design changes.
• Coordinate with Program Managers and Key Account Managers on forecast verification.
• Work with IE and Category Management to ensure capacity planning for demand ramps.
• Collaborate with HQ PLSCM for planning standardization and RACI alignment.
