Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Factory Support Project Manager to bridge manufacturing and supply chain operations in a 1-year contract role in Penang. You will analyze data in SAP, support expediting of materials, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time production and delivery to customers.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years in supply chain, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data in SAP and internal shortage tools to identify and elevate risks.
• Expedite key material to meet manufacturing and customer delivery dates.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure production and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with Global Operations teams including Buyers, Commodity, Supplier Business Managers, Manufacturing, and Engineering to mitigate material allocation risks.
• Manage non-technical, supply chain projects from initiation to delivery and improve business processes.
• Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies and root-cause corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Create timely reports and KPIs to identify material delivery challenges.
