Job summary

Curtin University Malaysia is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Officer to shape the university’s online presence. You will work with a small team to plan and produce engaging content across platforms and manage day-to-day social media activity.

You will develop an annual social media plan, implement a calendar, and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to optimize campaigns and achieve acquisition KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record creating high-quality social media content across platforms.
• Strong research and writing with attention to detail.
• Experience using social media publishing platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, brand-aligned content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Create an annual Social Media Plan and calendar to support priority audiences and KPIs.
• Grow followers and support lead generation through paid and organic strategies.
• Coordinate with Design, Video and Copywriting teams and external agencies on assets and campaigns.
• Analyse data to optimise campaigns and report performance to stakeholders.
• Maintain a consistent Curtin Malaysia brand voice and manage community interactions.
