Tinker Studio Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Social Media Specialist to shape compelling brand stories, engage audiences and drive measurable results within a dynamic creative agency. You will develop content for multiple platforms, plan editorial calendars, analyze performance, refine targeting, and collaborate with the Social Brand Manager and Digital Marketing team to align with client goals.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience, a marketing or communications degree, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of social media experience in an agency or similar environment.
• Agency background is preferred to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with major social platforms and platform algorithms.
• Hootsuite experience or integrations a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content tailored to different social media platforms.
• Coordinate with Creative Department on the visual direction of promotional materials and digital assets.
• Shape content strategy by researching industry trends and identifying target audiences.
• Plan editorial calendars and syndication plans to keep content consistent and aligned with campaign goals.
• Spot growth opportunities by researching industry trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Social Brand Manager and Digital Marketing teams to align strategy and execution with client goals.
• Optimize campaign performance by analysing results and making data-driven adjustments.
• Refine audience targeting by analysing behaviours and preferences.
• Support reporting and operations, maintaining records and preparing periodic reports.
