Job summary

APAC Michael Page is seeking an RTR Manager to oversee accounting and financial reporting within a Global Business Services environment in Malaysia. The role emphasizes compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across EU and APAC regions.

You will lead end-to-end reconciliation operations, manage external billing and duty payments, and drive standardization, automation, and process transformation while developing regional teams and ensuring strong controls and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5-7 years' experience in reconciliation, finance operations, or shared services.
• Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reconciliation processes, SAP, and advanced Excel.
• Proven stakeholder management and people leadership experience in regional environments.
• Experience in process transformation, transitions or shared services is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Duty Reconciliation operations across EU and APAC regions.
• Oversee external billing and duty payment reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely issue resolution.
• Drive process transitions, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage regional stakeholders, governance forums, escalations, and operational reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop teams while ensuring strong controls, compliance, and KPI/SLA delivery.
