Job summary

Michael Page Malaysia is seeking a senior accounting leader for a multinational with regional Shared Services responsibilities. You will oversee general ledger, month-end close, and balance sheet integrity across entities.

The role requires 8–10 years in accounting with 5+ years in people management, strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, and stakeholder collaboration. Hybrid work arrangements and governance emphasis are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 8–10 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Review and approve journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, payroll, and other postings.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
