Job summary

Nefab (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Production Planner – Operations to take ownership of demand and supply planning and align with S&OP goals. You will drive profitability through integrated value chains, close-loop analysis and systematic risk management while upholding Nefab’s Customer First, Communication and Cooperation standards.

You will oversee tactical and strategic production and material planning, monitor progress, manage delays, coordinate with materials and capacity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industry Engineer related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, material and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee production and material planning across tactical and strategic horizons.
• Ensure production progress and reschedule to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate production operations with materials, capabilities and capacities.
• Track daily production progress and report in daily operations meetings.
• Assist in customer fulfilment risk assessment and mitigation activities.
• Support customer service and communicate with stakeholders to ensure information flow.
• Resolve fulfilment issues and escalate to Supply Chain Manager to minimize delays.
• Drive KPI achievement and provide progress updates at project meetings.
• Support ERP implementation for planning functions.
• Undertake special projects as required.
• Willing to work on Saturdays when needed.
