Job summary
CHINT is seeking a skilled engineer to lead technical design, review, and optimization of prefabricated substation solutions for overseas projects in Malaysia. You will support bidding and sales by delivering reliable, standards-compliant engineering solutions.
Responsibilities include conducting technical reviews, developing design plans, optimizing bid competitiveness, integrating international best practices, and preparing bidding documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Power System or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in related field or product technical support engineering.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese for collaboration with teams in China.
- Experience in data center and renewable energy projects is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical reviews for overseas projects, including system configuration and technical evaluation of prefabricated substation solutions.
- Participate in the development and execution of design and engineering plans for prefabricated substations.
- Optimize design solutions to enhance bid competitiveness with cost-effective, reliable configurations.
- Integrate international best practices to continuously improve performance, reliability, and competitiveness.
- Provide technical recommendations and prepare bidding documents with detailed specifications.
- Support the sales team with technical evaluations and ongoing technical assistance.
