Job summary

TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to manage Civil Works portions of electrical substation and infrastructure projects. The role requires delivering on time and within budget, coordinating subcontractors, and reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning and control in civil construction or infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel for site works and inspections.
• Contract term until Dec 2026, renewable subject to project extension.

Responsibilities

• Manage Civil Works portions to deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate site work with appointed subcontractors to client and contract requirements.
• Report project progress to Project Manager and update Project Work Programme (WP).
• Liaise with client, authorities for permits and approvals.
• Assist with design drawings to suit electrical equipment and project requirements.
