Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a senior leader to oversee global post-trade confirmations and settlement activity across multiple asset classes. The role partners with stakeholders across countries to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

You will design and implement a global confirmations operating model, promote electronic platforms, and strengthen controls while engaging senior stakeholders across Front Office, COO, Finance and Technology.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in post-trade activity (confirmation & settlements).
• Strong experience in Global Markets Operations, Post Trade Operations, Middle Office, Confirmations, Reconciliations, Risk & Change/Transformation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trade confirmations are issued, agreed, matched and resolved promptly across Global Markets products.
• Reduce unsigned confirmations and resolve disputes with clear ownership and accountability.
• Define global confirmations strategy aligned to risk reduction, digitalisation and client experience.
• Build a consistent operating model for confirmations with standardised processes and templates.
• Drive adoption of electronic confirmation platforms and data-led controls.
• Lead digital confirmation initiatives, platform adoption, and workflow automation.
