Job summary

Selkirk Sport, LLC is seeking an Import and Export Manager to drive end-to-end ocean export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and Malaysian Customs laws. The role serves as the operational link between internal teams, freight forwarders, 3PL partners, and MITI, ensuring high-volume shipments move from booking to delivery with accurate billing and certifications.

Qualifications

6+ years in ocean export operations or related logistics roles, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of international trade docs, HS codes, Incoterms, and export licensing.
Experience coordinating with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Diploma or degree in logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery with compliant documentation.
Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to obtain shipping instructions and space bookings.
Handle COO applications and trade certifications (e.g., Form E).
Prepare COO and other trade docs for MITI and SST exemptions.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs, licensing, and trade requirements.
Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and declarations.
Monitor shipments and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Assist in process improvements and additional trade-related tasks.
