Job summary

Castrol is seeking an Order Management Specialist to lead the end-to-end O2C process, ensuring accurate orders, timely invoicing, and high customer satisfaction. You will work closely with customers, distributors, logistics, supply chain, and finance to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships across marine and energy sectors.

The role requires 5–7 years in order management or related fields, experience with ERP systems (SAP/Salesforce/JDE), and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5–7 years in Order Management, Customer Service, O2C, or related functions.
• Experience in a shared services environment is advantageous.
• Experience in energy/marine/oil & gas/industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Salesforce, JDE or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Japanese is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order placement, delivery updates, and order-related inquiries.
• Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Review and validate customer orders to ensure compliance with business requirements and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, credit, and finance teams to support timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor orders proactively and provide customers with updates on delivery schedules, product availability, pricing, and any potential disruptions.
• Ensure all order information is accurate, complete, and maintained in relevant systems.
• Identify and elevate potential issues that may impact customer satisfaction or on-time delivery.
• Record and manage customer complaints and non-conformances in line with company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
