Job summary

Mammoet, a global leader in heavy lifting and transport, seeks a Global Mobility - Talent Capability Lead to guide immigration, tax, and regulatory compliance across regions. You will drive capability development and leadership pipelines to align with business strategy in Malaysia and beyond.

The role offers exposure to regional workforce initiatives, with collaboration across HR, legal, and external partners to ensure policies are practical, compliant, and consistently implemented.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of HR experience with strong exposure to global mobility.
• Deep knowledge of international mobility compliance (immigration, tax, relocation governance).
• Exposure to talent or capability development initiatives is an advantage.
• Experience working with multi-jurisdiction / cross-country workforce environments.
• Globally minded compliance governance expert with the ability to translate strategy into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Global Mobility Governance & Compliance: oversee governance and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Oversee policies related to international assignments, cross-border travel, and relocation compliance.
• Partner with external advisors and internal stakeholders on immigration, tax, and regulatory matters.
• Ensure mobility policies are compliant, transparent, and consistently applied.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update policies to mitigate compliance risks.
• Guide HR and leaders on international mobility compliance requirements.
• Talent Capability Development: lead capability frameworks aligned with business priorities.
• Identify skill gaps and implement strategies to build workforce capabilities.
• Support leadership development initiatives and talent pipeline development.
• Collaborate with HR Partners and Learning teams to strengthen capabilities.
