Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience as Material Planner or Inventory Planner in manufacturing or supply chain
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and cross-functional teamwork
• Experience with lean manufacturing or supply chain optimization techniques
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain principles
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP/MRP software

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage material plans based on production schedules, customer orders, and forecast data
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and schedule timely orders to ensure material availability
• Analyze inventory trends to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs
• Liaise with the Customer Planning Team to understand material requirements
• Coordinate with the Customer Planning Team to resolve forecast and inventory discrepancies
• Collaborate with customers to ensure timely updates to material requirements
• Track inventory across multiple locations and ensure accuracy
• Generate regular reports on inventory status and usage trends
• Use ERP/MRP systems to update and maintain material availability and orders
