Job summary

Givaudan in Malaysia is seeking an EDM Master Data Coordinator to create and maintain master data, ensure timely and accurate information, and support continuous service improvements.

You will perform data management tasks, issue resolution, quality checks, and participate in master data projects, working with internal and external partners.

Ideal candidate has a university degree, business English, 0–2 years in a related role, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• University degree in any related field.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in a function-specific role or equivalent.
• Experience in a shared service environment is an advantage.
• Results-driven, adaptable and customer-focused, with strong decision-making and learning agility.
• Independent, reliable and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong numeracy and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Management – Master data creation and maintenance activities in the given service level, Information Management daily activities execution in the given service level.
• Basic issue resolution requests execution related Data/Information Management.
• Run pro-active monitoring and follow-up on activities related to the expected activities.
• Perform data quality checks and correction activities.
• Contribute to Master Data/Information Management Projects & Change Requests.
• Propose process improvements – Use idea management tool.
• Follow the daily task assignment provided by the team leaders or responsible person.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email.

Overall Mission

The EDM Master Data Coordinator creates and maintains master data and monitors process to identify pro-actively potential delays. He/She is supporting continuous improvement, contributes to improve service levels in the business by making master data available in a timely and accurate manner.

Main Responsibilities

Daily activities

• Data Management – Master data creation and maintenance activities in the given service level, Information Management daily activities execution in the given service level
