Job summary
Weir is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage daily logistics operations at our Batu Caves site in Malaysia. You will coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance across import/export processes. Strong communication in English and BM is essential, with an eye for continuous improvement.
You will collaborate with warehouse teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners, supporting ISO and Lean initiatives while maintaining safety standards and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on logistics coordination experience.
- Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in traffic management and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of import/export processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Prepare shipping documentation and liaise with authorities for import/export clearance.
- Track outbound shipments and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
- Support SHE and Lean initiatives to improve logistics performance.
- Assist with ISO audits and continuous improvement activities.
- Travel may be required to support site operations or external partners.
