Job summary

Bachelor in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related background.
Minimum 2 years of logistics-related experience.
Good command of English.
Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Be the Business Line's logistics focal point for their logistics movements.
Validate transport requests and delivery dates for defined regions.
Leverage planning and rate checker tools to achieve competitive costs.
Plan shipment routings, use consolidation and backload opportunities to reduce costs.
Monitor shipment execution and keep stakeholders updated on deviations.
Obtain freight cost approvals and shortlist offers from Freight Forwarders.
Identify logistics network improvement opportunities.
Ensure compliance with international transport regulations.
Monitor cargo moves status and investigate deviations.
Implement corrective measures for deviations and communicate proactively.
Assess carrier performance on on-time delivery and pickup.
Manage international or domestic movements ensuring policy compliance.
Act as interface with Import/Export teams for smooth communication.
Participate in performance analysis meetings.
Monitor and capture logistics milestones data in the business system.
Report deviations in internal systems and follow up on action plans.
