Job summary

bp is seeking a Global Logistics Category Manager to drive end-to-end category strategy and supplier performance for the global logistics portfolio. The role leads regional logistics in Aspac and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver value, sustainability and risk mitigation.

The role requires deep category knowledge, leadership in procurement, and ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple countries and markets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of category management principles and procurement processes.
• Experience in logistics category across transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding and related sub-categories.
• Ability to manage large global spend portfolio across multiple countries.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end category strategy, sourcing, contracting and supplier performance management for global logistics.
• Develop category guidance and strategic plans aligned with Castrol/bp objectives.
• Analyse spend and market trends to identify consolidation and optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional teams to implement global strategies locally.
• Monitor dashboards, KPIs, scorecards and continuous improvement programmes.
