Job summary

Dyson targets an IT Service Operations Transition Manager to govern the transition of new or changed IT services into live operation. You will ensure readiness, documentation, and supportability across teams and suppliers to meet acceptance criteria before production release.

You will drive governance, planning, knowledge transfer, and post go-live stabilisation, collaborating with ITSM, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to reduce transition risk and support continual improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading service transition and production acceptance.
• Experience in global organisations with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management and change governance.
• Ability to translate technical detail into executive insights.
• Experience with service desk readiness and resolver onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Own design and governance of the service transition framework.
• Define operational readiness requirements for new services.
• Coordinate transition activities across project, engineering, and suppliers.
• Lead governance forums, readiness reviews, and acceptance decisions.
• Govern knowledge transfer, training, and handover activities.
• Monitor risks, issues, and post go-live stabilisation.
• Provide executive reporting on readiness and risk.
