Job summary

SLB is seeking a Global Service Desk Intern to support first/second level IT issues in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will handle incidents related to laptops, IP telephony, connectivity, security, servers, and real-time operations.

Expect shifts from 9 AM to midnight, 5 days a week with rotating Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun weekends. Mandarin/Arabic/French skills are a plus, and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering.
• Additional language skills (Mandarin, Arabic, or French) are a plus.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second line IT support for laptops, hardware/software, IP telephony, connectivity, security, servers, and real-time ops.
• Log and track incidents; follow help desk procedures and timelines.
• Escalate unresolved incidents within agreed timescales.
• Communicate incident progress to clients and keep tickets up to date.
• Complete assigned IT training roadmap and comply with IT policies.
