Abbott in Malaysia is seeking a Head of Digital & Commerce Operations to ensure global platforms are reliable, secure, and performing at their best. You will lead Site Reliability Engineering and drive continuous improvement across the digital and commerce ecosystem.

You'll oversee multiple regions (India, Malaysia, Ireland, US) and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and external partners to deliver scalable, cost-efficient solutions aligned with Abbott's mission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital, e‑commerce operations or SRE.
• Proven leadership of global, multi‑timezone teams.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and observability.
• Mindset focused on reliability, continuous improvement, and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead global operations for key digital platforms, including AEM, Adobe Commerce / Magento, and commercetools.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence across all environments.
• Own incident management, platform reliability, and continuous improvement practices.
• Lead a follow‑the‑sun operating model across India, Malaysia, Ireland, and the US.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and external partners.
• Oversee vendor performance and service delivery against SLAs.
• Drive cost efficiency, scalability, and long‑term platform sustainability.
