Job summary

Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Customer Service Officer to manage end-to-end bookings for ocean and air freight, provide proactive tracking updates, and quote freight rates.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in logistics or related field, 2–3 years of freight forwarding experience, and strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on customer service in freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms and customs clearance processes.
• Experience with ocean/air freight documentation and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end bookings for ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight shipments.
• Provide timely tracking updates, transit times, and freight rate quotations.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (BLs, HAWB/MAWB, manifests).
• Coordinate with lines, airlines, co-loaders, hauliers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Troubleshoot transit delays, customs holds, and cargo discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly reports and statistics per management requirements.
