Job summary

Helinox Pacific Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Finance Executive to join the Global Finance team. Based onsite in Kuala Lumpur, you will support daily finance activities and assist the Finance Manager and Global CFO on projects with international scope.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, reconciliations, month-end activities, intercompany data, and group reporting. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; NetSuite experience would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and record day-to-day finance transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform finance-related data entry into the Group's accounting / ERP system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing and payment / receipt recording.
• Maintain accurate and complete finance records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, intercompany and other account reconciliations.
• Follow up on discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Assist the Finance Manager with month-end closing activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for monthly reporting.
• Assist with the processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and recharges.
• Prepare financial data and schedules required for Group reporting.
• Assist with audit, tax and other finance-related requests by preparing supporting information and documentation.
• Support finance process improvements and other projects as required.
• Perform other finance-related tasks and assignments as directed by the Finance Manager or Global CFO.
