Job summary

The Flexi Group is seeking a Finance Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will support day-to-day financial transactions, process payments, manage invoices, and help maintain the company’s financial health.

You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and timely month-end closings. The role requires 2+ years in accounting/finance, fluency in English, and experience with MS Office and Dynamics BC.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Bookkeeping knowledge.
• Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and provide financial support across departments and to vendors.
• General journal entries, cash flow projection, bank reconciliation, bills and payments, balance sheet notes, intercompany transactions and ensuring data is tracked daily.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable and prepare proof of payments and debit notes.
• Handle month-end closing, balance sheets and P&L statements timely and accurately.
• Assist in preparing monthly consolidated accounts, landlord reports, tax computations and filing, year-end audit and liaising with auditors.
• Perform invoice billing and coordinate with operations to resolve billing issues.
• Monitor cash flow position and provide biweekly updates with input from divisions.
• Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
