Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to strengthen global environmental compliance and stewardship. You will partner with cross-functional teams across Lam's Asia sites to ensure regulatory adherence, manage environmental risks, and drive continual improvement in environmental programs.

You’ll support environmental permitting, emissions, waste and wastewater management, and contribute to ESG data collection and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance and environmental management within manufacturing/high-tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations related to hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, chemical management, environmental permitting, and regulatory reporting.
• Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical compliance strategies and business processes.
• Experience leading environmental audits, compliance assessments, incident investigations, and corrective and preventive action programs.

Responsibilities

• Support global Lam sites in Asia to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with corporate standards.
• Implement and monitor major environmental programs: permitting, air emissions, chemical management, waste management, stormwater, and wastewater.
• Assist in collecting environmental data for ESG reporting and respond to regulatory questionnaires and customer surveys.
• Lead environmental audits, gap analyses, and drive closure of corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit agency reports, permits, and other regulatory documents with site EHS teams.
• Develop and maintain legal registers, compliance calendars, and ISO 14001 procedures.
• Train personnel on environmental programs and conduct incident investigations with corrective action plans.
• Monitor emerging regulations and assess their impact on site operations.
