Job summary

Randstad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects from planning through execution and delivery, working with engineering teams, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders across automation, machinery, equipment manufacturing and related environments.

You will manage schedules, budgets and deliverables, coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation teams, and act as the main liaison for customers and internal groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience managing complex engineering projects in automation or manufacturing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• PMP certification is an advantage; training offered if not held.
• Willingness for occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through delivery.
• Develop schedules, milestones, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, automation, and manufacturing teams.
• Serve as key contact between customers and internal teams.
• Monitor progress and manage delays, risks, and challenges.
• Travel internationally as required for customer engagements.
• Facilitate meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Support continuous improvement of PM processes.
