Job summary

IMA Automation Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex engineering projects within our automation business. You will oversee end-to-end delivery from feasibility through installation, acceptance, and closure, ensuring technical compliance, cost control, quality and on-time performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers and suppliers worldwide, manage risks and resources, and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PM certification (PMP/IPMA) or equivalent is preferred.
• 5–10 years of large-scale automation project experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians and fitters.
• Pragmatic, organized and decisive with risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from feasibility to closure.
• Control costs, schedules and resources; manage risks.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide regular progress reports to management.
• Ensure quality, compliance and contractual requirements.
