Job summary

You bring 8+ years in supplier management within regulated industries, 5+ years of leadership, and a track record of influencing global initiatives and reducing risk.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in supplier management, sourcing/procurement or supply chain in medical devices or highly regulated industries.
• Proven leadership with 5+ years managing teams.
• Ability to lead global supplier initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills to drive solutions in challenging situations.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills with executive presence.
• Experience in global electronics supplier management preferred.
• Expertise in electronics component lifecycle management and manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global electronics supplier management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Own supplier relationship and performance management, including improvement programs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier relationships, manufacturing, capacity, supplies, obsolescence, geopolitics.
• Ensure compliance of category strategies and contract terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supplier capabilities with design and production schedules; resolve escalations.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and VAVE projects for electronics components and assemblies.
• Foster continuous improvement with suppliers through lean processes and innovation.
• Ensure supplier readiness for new product introductions and major design changes; oversee validation/regulatory compliance.
• Provide data-driven updates to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop supplier management professionals.
