Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Global Customs Compliance Specialist to shape and strengthen global governance and compliance standards across international operations. You will lead the development of policies, ensure compliant documentation, and drive risk assessments.

The role requires collaboration with regional teams, legal, and audit to deliver improvements, training, and strategic projects across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to decision-making.
• Professional written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of global customs policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
• Ensure customs documentation, controls, and compliance requirements remain accurate, updated, and globally aligned
• Drive customs risk assessments, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor regulatory, legal, and trade developments, translating business impacts into actionable guidance
• Partner closely with regional customs teams, legal, audit, risk management, and process design stakeholders worldwide
• Support customs-related mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business projects
• Perform analytical reviews and develop management reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs to customs stakeholders across regions
• Coordinate and contribute to global customs transformation and improvement projects
