Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive for Global Customs Governance & Risk Management to support policy development, compliance reviews, and governance initiatives.

You will collaborate with Legal, Audit, Risk, Supply Chain, and Customs teams, conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and help translate regulatory requirements into controls. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for growth within a dynamic organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and governance/risk experience preferred.
• Experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, or related functions required.
• Strong understanding of regulations, audit processes, and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and governance of customs policies.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
• Identify compliance gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Audit, Risk Management, Supply Chain, and Customs teams.
• Support audit activities, follow-up actions, and remediation planning.
• Perform compliance reporting, data analysis, and dashboards.
• Participate in projects, process improvements, and transformations.
