Businesslist is seeking an experienced Payments Operations Lead to oversee daily payment operations across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence. You will monitor transaction flows, identify improvements, and manage operational risk with timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payment operations, transaction processing, reconciliation, or financial operations.
• Background within fintech, payments, banking, e-wallets, remittance, or financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of local and cross-border payment ecosystems.
• Experience managing operational risk, compliance requirements, and service quality standards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and regions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team coordination and operational project management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Oversee daily payment operations across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
• Monitor transaction flows and payment performance while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
• Manage operational risk, investigate transaction issues, and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, engineering, and business teams to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
• Analyse operational metrics and reporting data to drive process enhancements and scalability.
• Support the onboarding and launch of new payment methods, partners, and market expansion initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, payment providers, and financial institutions.
• Lead operational projects, improve workflows, and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and support team members while contributing to a high-performance operational culture.
