Job summary

Viridien in Malaysia seeks a Compensation Specialist to design and deliver competitive, equitable, and transparent compensation programs.

You will join our Global Compensation team, partnering with HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to enable data-driven decisions, maintain salary structures, and participate in market surveys. This role requires 5–10 years of experience, strong Excel, and familiarity with Workday; hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or business administration.
• 5–10 years in compensation or related HR discipline.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Familiarity with market data providers and benchmarking.
• Knowledge of compensation frameworks and pay transparency.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external compensation data to support pay decisions
• Design and maintain salary structures and incentive programs
• Participate in market benchmarking and surveys (Mercer, WTW)
• Provide financial modeling and cost analysis for offers and promotions
• Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition for competitive offers
• Ensure compliance with regulations and pay transparency
• Support annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonuses, equity programs)
• Deliver training on compensation policies and tools
