Job summary

Celestica Malaysia, based in Penang, seeks a senior professional to lead Build to Print commodities and supplier quality programs for its advanced technology, computing cloud solution segment. You will drive supplier qualification, audits and localization while overseeing a cross-functional team across global sites.

You will manage supplier performance, apply Lean/Six Sigma for improvements, and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Business or higher required.
10+ years in engineering, manufacturing, quality management or SCM.
Experience with high-speed interconnects or fibre optics preferred.
Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, ISO14001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, IPC standards and GDT.
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

Lead global Build to Print commodity engineering across plastics, metal, machining, electronics and hardware.
Develop and mentor a team to ensure compliance and capability.
Perform supplier qualification and audits to ISO/industry standards.
Manage supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
Support RFQ, cost reduction and MVP activities for the commodity.
Lead project teams to meet timelines and cost targets.
