Job summary

Morimatsu Pharmadule (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and technical reviews for industrial, data-center and pharmaceutical facilities in Malaysia. The role involves coordinating drawings, liaising with China-based teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance for local projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, with preference for BEM PE, and be ready for short overseas travel to Singapore as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil and Structure Engineering.
• BEM PE (Ir. Professional Engineer) qualifications are preferred.
• Know-how of reviewing civil and structure drawings against local codes.
• Experience with data-center, pharmaceutical clean-room or industrial plant projects is highly preferred.
• Familiar with Malaysian local building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Capable of reviewing Chinese & English drawings and identifying design risks.
• Willingness for short-term overseas travel (Singapore) and to liaise with China teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structure design and technical review for Malaysia projects.
• Coordinate drawing submissions with local institutes and third-party consultants.
• Act as local technical contact for clients and partners.
• Collaborate with China-based teams to resolve civil and structure issues during execution.
