Job summary

Tdecision Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software implementation projects for banking clients across international markets. You will manage customer-side delivery teams and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget deployments of SaaS or on-premises risk systems.

Responsibilities include end-to-end project lifecycle, stakeholder liaison, risk management, and continuous improvement of delivery playbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or finance-related discipline.
• 5+ years implementing financial risk systems for banks, or 8+ years in IT project management.
• Proven track record delivering SaaS or on-premises platforms to production.
• Lead customer-facing implementations and cross-functional teams on site or remotely.
• Fluent English; local language skills advantageous.
• Proficient with project tools and hybrid delivery models (Agile/Waterfall).
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and escalation abilities.
• Willing to travel frequently for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the full project lifecycle for bank customers: initiation, requirements, delivery, integration, UAT, go-live and handover.
• Serve as SPOC between client and internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RACI, and delivery artifacts.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks; manage change requests with impact analysis.
• Oversee integration testing, performance validation, security checks, and UAT.
• Lead and mentor the implementation team; ensure knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with compliance, audit and security stakeholders for evidence and remediation.
• Drive continuous improvement with lessons learned, playbooks, templates and checklists.
