Job summary

SAS Institute in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Implementation Project Manager to lead enterprise software implementations, owning end-to-end delivery across scope, schedule, resources, budget, governance, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction in line with SAS standards and business objectives.

This role requires leading engagements from initiation through closeout, integrating delivery governance, customer leadership, financial control, risk management, and quality oversight to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of project management experience in application development or enterprise software implementation.
• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated ownership of project governance, delivery, customer relationships, risk, and financial performance.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organisation, problem-solving, and influencing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define the implementation, staffing, delivery approach, milestones, and governance model for each engagement.
• Control scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and deliverables to meet contractual commitments.
• Act as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Establish effective governance, change control, and delivery oversight; assess and mitigate risks and costs.
• Deliver successful outcomes through project health checks, quality oversight, and customer satisfaction management.
• Support regional consulting strategy, operational excellence, reusable frameworks, service offerings, staff development, and revenue growth.
