Job summary

ROCKWOOL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant (Entry Level) to process and manage AP transactions across regions. You will post vendor invoices in SAP ERP 6.0, support payment proposals, and ensure timely month-end close while collaborating with treasury and vendors.

Fresh graduates are welcome; diplomas in Accounting or Finance are preferred. Strong Excel skills and English communication are essential, with knowledge of Alusta or similar tools and AP automation a plus.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome or candidates with 3 years AP experience in an ERP environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP 6.0 is required.
• Experience preparing payment proposals and operating Alusta (or equivalent) platform.
• Adequate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups); data manipulation and reconciliation.
• Strong written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience supporting multi-country AP operations or regional stakeholders.
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
• Experience with AP automation tools, electronic invoicing, or RPA.
• Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau or basic SQL for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate and post vendor invoices and credit notes in SAP ERP 6.0.
• Prepare and support payment proposals and coordinate payment execution.
• Match and clear GR/IR items, PO invoices and non-PO invoices; process payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Perform AP reconciliation to the General Ledger and manage accruals.
• Support month-end close and AP reporting to meet deadlines.
• Assist in audit requests and prepare AP reports.
