Job summary

Mintel is seeking an Accounts Executive in Malaysia to join a dynamic shared services team. You will manage supplier master data, process invoices and expenses, and ensure accurate coding to GL accounts and projects. The role requires AP experience and strong collaboration with internal teams.

Hybrid work model offered with flexible hours; familiarity with SAP Concur and NetSuite is a plus. You will support month-end closing and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in SSC or multinational company.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel with VLookup and Pivot.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain supplier master data in systems.
• Process POs, supplier invoices, and expenses on time.
• Code to GL accounts, departments and projects.
• Process multi-currency payments accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues.
• Perform aging analysis; reconcile supplier and bank accounts.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
• Support month-end closing and audits.
• Assist with process improvements and SOP updates.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
