Job summary

Micron Memory Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead corporate and international accounting functions within a Shared Services model. You will oversee the monthly close for global entities under US GAAP, ensure compliant financial reporting and robust internal controls, and drive continuous improvement across COE operations.

Qualifications

15+ years in finance, accounting and reporting in a high‑tech/multinational environment.
12+ years in leadership roles or matrix organizations.
10+ years automating processes (LEAN/RPA) in finance.
10+ years SAP ERP experience, including SAP S/4 implementations.

Responsibilities

Direct planning, operations and administration of corporate and international accounting within Shared Services.
Manage timely monthly close processes for global entities under US GAAP; ensure statutory financials and audit readiness.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP and local regulations; uphold SOX controls.
Benchmark finance processes against best-in-class; drive COE efficiency improvements (cycle time, productivity, quality).
Lead talent development; build bridges with stakeholders and communicate financial matters to non-finance audiences.
Leverage AI and automation to enhance finance processes and data-driven decision making.
