Job summary

Micron Technology is looking for a Finance Leader in Penang to oversee corporate and international accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 15+ years of finance experience in a high-tech environment and strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance, accounting and reporting in the high-tech industry.
• 12+ years in leadership capacity and/or in a matrix organization.
• 10+ years of experience in automation projects, LEAN, or RPA.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning and operations of corporate and international accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local laws for financial reporting.
• Manage timely monthly close processes for global entities.
• Oversee SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Drive improvements in COE operational outcomes.
