Genesis Life Care operates in-house kitchens at each centre, preparing nutritious, resident-friendly meals under a dietician's supervision.

As a Cook, you will follow dietician-approved menus, including texture-modified and special diets, while maintaining hygiene and coordinating with nursing staff on dietary restrictions.

The role offers stable full-time hours in a home-style institutional setting, on-the-job training, and accommodation arrangements for outstation hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in home, institutional, or F&B kitchens.
• Valid food handling certificate or willingness to obtain before start.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare daily meals following dietician-approved menus, including texture-modified and special diets.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and stock rotation standards.
• Coordinate with nursing team on dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Help plan and prep for festive meals for residents and families.
• Keep kitchen equipment and inventory in good order.
