Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable operations driver to assist in installation work and deliver products, equipment and tools to project sites in a safe, timely manner.

You will conduct pre-travel inspections, coordinate with project managers, and ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while maintaining professional customer service.

This role emphasizes route planning, load security, and ongoing skills development through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Department in installation work according to departmental requirements
• Deliver products, equipment and tools to and from project sites in a safe and timely manner, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at project sites, according to technical specifications and safety protocols
• Conduct pre-travel inspections of lorries to ensure they are in good condition and report any issues to the Department Head
• Responsible for delivering company vehicles to workshops for repairs if damage occurs and responsible for conducting Puspakom inspections
• Load and unload goods to or from lorries in a safe and secure manner, complying with industry regulations
• Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, taking into account traffic flow, weather conditions and other factors
• Communicate with project managers, technicians and other team members to coordinate transport and installation schedules and report any issues or delays
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and customer service when interacting with customers and the public
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge through training and education opportunities in both technical and lorry driving fields
