Job summary

Kps Hcm is seeking workers for a construction-related role in Kuala Lumpur, handling heavy lifting and material movement across sites. The position involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be prepared to work with bitumen binder and aggregates, follow safety protocols, and assist on-site tasks as directed by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly repetitive tasks and heavy lifting (up to 25 kg per pail), handling 250–420 pails daily during peak production.
• Mix, transfer and store materials such as bitumen binder and aggregate using forklift and manual handling.
• Load/unload raw materials and pails from/to transporting vehicles.
• Operate forklift and other machinery; maintain tools and equipment.
• Ensure safety by wearing required PPE at all times and keep work sites clean.
• Assist received/unloading of equipment and materials from suppliers.
• Setup traffic management at sites and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

• Highly repetitive tasks and heavy lifting and arrange pails (1 pail = 25 kg) for storage with average 250 pails - 420 pails per day during high production
• Heavy work on mixing, transferring and storing of materials such as bitumen binder and aggregate using forklift and manually
• Heavy duty loading, unloading, move and arrange raw materials/pails especially from/to transporting vehicle.
• Operate forklift and machineries
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Clean up work sites
• Operate and shift equipment and materials
• Assist receiving and unloading of equipment, products and machineries from suppliers/transporters
• Handle and store delivered raw materials
• Remove debris and trash at factory work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all time
• Load and unload machinery and materials
• Setup traffic management at sites and carry out other traffic management activities
• Cleans and prepares construction sites or work sites
• Operates or handle machinery or equipment used in project, such as asphalt heater, boiler, and sprayer
• Work on hacking and cutting of pavements
• Work on loose asphalt using rakes and shovels
• Remove debris and waste from project sites
• Move product, tools and materials in work areas
