Job summary

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd is looking for a forklift operator to safely move and stack construction materials on site. You will load and unload from trucks and storage areas, maintain a clean, safe work area, and report forklift defects to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate holds a forklift competency certificate/licence, has prior forklift experience on construction sites, and can follow safety procedures, instructions, and site rules while staying physically fit.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift competency certificate/licence is required.
• Previous forklift operating experience, preferably on construction sites.
• Able to operate forklift safely and responsibly.
• Physically fit and able to work at a construction site.
• Willing to follow instructions and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift safely to move and transport construction materials at the worksite.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas and work areas.
• Arrange and stack materials properly at designated areas.
• Check the forklift before use and report defects to the supervisor.
• Follow site safety rules, traffic rules and operating procedures at all times.
• Ensure materials are handled safely to avoid damage to property, equipment and materials.
• Keep the forklift clean and in good working condition.
• Assist the site team with other material handling duties when required.
• Maintain proper care of the forklift and use it only for authorised work.
